The Team

Our crew

We are so excited to announce the Ripple Effect Crew for the Great Pacific Race 2020!

Emma, Kat and Jen make up the wonderful Ripple Effect crew for the GPR 2020. With Emma returning after attempting the crossing in 2018 we are more determined, driven and excited than ever. Our goal is not only complete the race, but to become the fastest women’s trio to row unsupported from California to Hawaii – we are chasing that World Record!

We are doing the row not only to push ourselves to our mental and physical limits, but with a joined passion to protect our oceans. The row will take us from California to Hawaii and through the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, a 1.6million square kilometer area of garbage in the ocean – three times the size France! We want to  use this opportunity to continue the conversations of ocean health and climate change to educate, encourage and facilitate change to protect our planet and the animals and people that live in it.

If you would like to find out more about the row or how you can make a change, please visit our “challenge” and “resources” pages, or to sponsor us or the charities we are supporting please check out or “sponsor” page.

Keep an eye out for more updates on our journey and our projects on our website.
